Reading keeps your brain active, and taking any class at a community college or online will keep your brain thinking. Like any other organ in your body, it must be put to use. Otherwise, it may deteriorate.

  1. Be Social

Studies show that interacting and being part of a tight-knit community (church, book club, running, etc.) is good for a healthy brain. Isolation has shown to be harmful to the brain.
